Traditional VPNs’ require expensive leased lines costing in the region of £6,000 per line per year and rarely offer anything better than “one way” uni-directional connections.

DataLink provides bi-directional VPN connectivity for a fraction of the cost at just £1,990.00 including all hardware (ADSL gateways and the DataLink Black Boxes), software and installation for the primary connection of a satellite office to a head office.

DataLink provides a secure encrypted link to your office data files that allows you to work on those files and output to any networked device, such as a printer, as if you were actually in your office. Naturally, the same features are available in reverse. That is to say that you can access the data files on your remote computer when working at your head office.

DataLink is a hardware and software solution that is reinforced with an annual support contract providing online technical support and remote control troubleshooting. In addition, DataLink can be enhanced to provide Instant Messaging, Website hosting and email (webmail) services that can all be administered from within the hardware systems installed at the clients’ offices. By bringing these often used services “in-house” the client will gain full control of their systems and achieve further cost savings at the same time. The increased bandwidth that comes with ADSL also allows the client to take advantage of fast online backup space for up to 1Gb of business critical data. Extra space is available at a modest additional charge.
